Meet the team

Katie- Manager

Katie has a Level 3 - City and Guilds Early Years Educator, and a Early Years Lead Practitioner Level 5. Katie splits her time between being a key person and ensuring the setting runs smoothly as our Manager.

Ben- Deputy Manager

Ben has been with us since March 2024, he has worked in education and childcare for 5 years. He has a level 5 in supporting teaching and learning and a level 3 in children’s play, learning and development.

Brooke- SENCO, ELSA and Key Person

Brooke has worked in childcare since 2022 and has made a fantastic impact on the team. Brooke is qualified as a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner and is soon to start her level 5 training. Brooke is our SENCO and our ELSA leader.

Ellie , Key Person

Ellie joined us in 2024 as an apprentice, she has now been fully qualified for 6 months. Ellie is very enthusiastic and is now starting her training to become a SENCO alongside Brooke.

Faye- Key Person

Faye has a wealth of knowledge and experience spanning 10 years. Before joining us Faye worked as a qualified teacher in a primary school. Faye has so many fantastic ideas and is always thinking of new ways to do things. Faye helps to develop the curriculum as well as being our blog writer.

Ellie, Key Person

Ellie joined us in 2020. She has a Level 5 for Early Years Lead Practitioner and is full of enthusiasm and new ideas. Ellie leads our social media pages and our speech and language group- chatterbox.

  • Sarah Green, Preschool Proprietor

    Sarah is the owner of the preschool, having taken over in 2019 from her mother (Mary Green), who was involved with the preschool for over 40 years. Sarah has worked in education and educational administration for over 25 years.

  • Natalie, Preschool Assistant

    Natalie joined us in February 2025. Her twin girls have been coming to us for nearly a year when she decided to pursue a career in childcare. She is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development as she looks to begin her level 3.

  • Jan- Key Worker

    Jan has been working at Denmead preschool for over 10 years! She is level 3 qualified and is always bringing new ideas to the pre-school.
